Sunstone Yoga is proud to announce the sale of nine additional franchise studios since August 2007, bringing the total number of Sunstone Yoga studios to twenty since the initial franchise offering became available in 2006.

With new studios opening across Texas in Houston, Dallas, and Austin, combined locations in Colorado and Florida, strength of the Sunstone Yoga brand is growing throughout Texas and beyond, and demand for studios is high in virtually every market around the United States.

Since the sale of our first conversion studio in North Dallas last year, we have recently added another eight locations to Texas, including a Houston studio, two Austin locations, and five more studios in the Dallas Fort Worth area, including Southlake, Frisco, Las Colinas, Flower Mound, and Lakewood. They will all begin opening their doors this summer.

“I’ve got some great locations left in DFW,” says Allison Strickler, who heads up the franchise sales team, “but not for long! I’m working with some dynamic, passionate people all around this area, as well as the state and the country, helping them realize their goals of owning a business and bringing more of the powerful benefits of yoga to their communities.

“I love yoga because it makes me feel so good,” says Houston studio owner Bobbi Nguyen. “When a chance came to open a franchise and be in this environment, to share yoga with as many people as possible, I grabbed it without hesitation."

We are proud to announce the sale of our first franchise in North Dallas, effective June 29, 2006.

Sunstone Yoga found an ideal partner in Elizabeth Rondeau, a long time Dallas yoga enthusiast and owner of Bikram Yoga North Dallas, who will convert her studio into Sunstone Yoga’s fourth location, and provide full coverage to the greater Dallas Tollway corridor from downtown to Plano.

“Sunstone has an innovative approach to the entire yoga studio model that will better serve my existing students,” Rondeau told us. “It will help me build a larger base by attracting people from more age groups and fitness levels, while still maintaining the high level of instruction that my students have come to know.”

The new studio, located at 14902 Preston Road, Suite 612, Dallas TX, will begin offering each of Sunstone Yoga’s unique fitness yoga series in August, 2006.
