| Our mission is to provide a comfortable and clean space with courteous, effective, and consistent instruction. To allow students through time and patience to discover by way of the body, as a result of their personal experience, the subtle relationship of body, mind and spirit. To instruct from personal experience in clear language, free of dogmatic and archaic speech. |

The name Sunstone Yoga® is inspired by the 1957 poem "Piedra de Sol" written by the Nobel Prize winning writer Octavio Paz. A deep yoga practice shares the qualities of this impassioned poem. Read the Poem... |

| At Sunstone Yoga we teach fitness styles of yoga, including series yoga in a heated environment, power and vinyasa (flow) and our unique core strengthening Pain Free Yoga™ series. Our core series is called the FIRE series, in which the postures are practiced in a specific synergistic and cumulative order. The warmth of the room allows you to work deep into your muscles, tendons and ligaments, changing your body from the inside out. Through regular practice you will reduce stress, increase strength and flexibility, balance the weight of your body, and improve the quality of your life. Please be prepared to work hard, learn, and enjoy. Get more information about our classes in the Frequently Asked Questions. |

| Our logo represents the many aspects of yoga discovered at Sunstone Yoga. Child's Pose symbolizes security and strength like a rock or stone. It also represents surrender, introspection, meditation and the internal. The sun rays symbolize expansion, warmth, and the vibrant external aspects of life and yoga. We celebrate and discover daily the many aspects of yoga. |
